5th Leeds Gathering Festival is a ten day celebration of
Irish music and the arts from 6th to 15th November. At
the Racket appear at Otley
Courthouse on Sat 7th Nov. There will be plenty of sessions
and craic featuring Nuala
Kennedy, Des Hurley, Chris O'Malley, comedy with Ed
Byrne, films and more. |

Sweeney is now giving private fiddle lessons in Manchester.

the Northwest
Uilleann Pipers and has played in many concerts and sessions
including being a finalist in the BBC Young Folk Award. |
There
is a traditional Irish music session at The Cotton Tree Inn,
Cotton Lane which is near the Christie hospital in Manchester.
It is a weekly Sunday afternoon session with Grace Kelly and
friends and starts between 7 and 8pm. |
The
Full Set is a great traditional Irish music TV programme
from RTE, now in it's 2nd series. The guests in the 2nd
programme were Mike
McGoldrick and Dezi Donnelly. You can also listen to other
ITM radio programmes from RTE such as The
Late Session and Ceili
House. |
