Session Rules - apply to most but not all sessions listed on this page!

Musicians respectfully request that patrons refrain from accompanying the music by:

1) Singing
2) Humming
3) Grunting
4) Farting

Shakey eggs and other non-traditional percussive instruments may only be played in the session on production of a nuisance licence which can be purchased at a cost of £100 per night from musicians. Breach of these rules will result in a report being sent to Ofsesh, The official body for inspecting sessions. Ofsesh have launced their new Bodhran, Spoons & Banjo Equality Scheme (BSBES). The scheme demonstrates Ofsesh's on-going commitment to valuing differences and diversity in today's session. The scheme illustrates Ofsesh's aims to promote equality and eliminate discrimination, foster good relations and promote equality of opportunity for those who have been deluded into thinking they are playing a musical instrument, when they are in fact, not. More on the scheme to follow.
